Throughout history fashion got repeatedly inspired by military aesthetics, implementing camouflage prints, padded shoulders or the severe structured silhouettes of uniforms.
Hermès incorporated their inspiration by the trend in a subtle way with their Officier Birkin as a Limited Edition in 2018. Like the decorated shoulder sleeve insignia of uniformed officers, these Birkin bags feature two Swift leather stripes down the left side of the front. The bags’ bodies are made from Togo leather.
A little surprise waits on the inside, as the color of the interior matches the two Swift leather stripes on the outside.
You can find this Limited Edition bag in the sizes of 25cm, 30cm, 35cm and 40cm. It also comes in the following color combinations: Bleu Nuit with Vert Cypress colored stripes, Vert Cypress with Blue Zellige stripes, Blue Encre and Bordeaux stripes and Gold with Jaune Ambre stripes.
